A shortened, more lightweight alternative to our best-selling Lila gown. All of our labor and postpartum gowns are designed with actual labor in mind by a Labor and Delivery Nurse and Doula. These gowns are intended to provide accessibility to your medical team, while still being stylish and comfortable for you.

Some features of this gown include:

• High-quality, butter smooth, stretch material - Did you know, for some women, sensations are experienced differently in labor? A texture that may feel fine normally can become irritating and distracting during labor. The material used for this gown has been hand-selected to be soft enough to keep you comfortable throughout.

• Low back - perfect to provide accessibility for epidural placement and/or massage.

• Opens at the belly - Most labor gowns you’ll find don’t open in front at all, meaning the cords from your fetal monitors will hang down in front of your legs which can be annoying and distracting. Our labor gowns open down the middle of your belly so you can string the cords up with your portable monitoring system and keep them out of the way and out from under your feet.

• Two inside ties - Did you know one of the most common complaints from women after they have given birth is that their privacy was invaded? Most labor gowns that offer a similar level of accessibility are skimpy and revealing. Our gowns are made with things like 3/4 sleeves, and two inside ties to keep your gown closed while not sacrificing accessibility.

• Opens at the chest - The front of this gown opens completely at the chest for skin-to-skin immediately after birth, and because sometimes that happens quickly or unexpectedly there are no knots to untie or changes of position required to give complete and immediate access to your chest for skin to skin and breastfeeding.

• Matching baby hat and swaddle - How can you miss the opportunity to match with your baby? Our Lila gown can be ordered solo or as a set. Simply add a matching swaddle to your cart and use code BUNDLE50 at checkout to get a matching  swaddle for  50% off the original price!

Our gowns are made of 8% spandex and 92% rayon

Absolutely hates this cut! Fabric was nice, print was beautiful, had great options for feeding and bonding but this cut was terrible. It kept falling off my shoulders and I kept exposing myself. They should add a strap across the back neck and make it optional with snaps. So it’s a Pass on the cut

I bought this for my daughter having her first baby. I would’ve given this a five star but felt a little disappointed when she tried it on and we realized there were no pockets and she is a pocket girl; nonetheless, still comfortable.

Love it but hate it

PASS ON THIS CUT!!!!!!!! As a natural hot person I loved that this gown was sleeveless. The material is nice and cool. My biggest issue is the straps. I wish there was a neck tie on the back collar area. The whole time I wore this the straps kept falling off. It was a pain trying to get my baby to latch onto my breast and being fully exposed due to the sleeves falling constantly.

Overall happy with Juliet gown, just would tweak a few things

Love the print and the gown style for the most part. My two biggest complaints come from start to finish transaction time and the sleeves/top of the Juliet gown. I ordered two Juliet gowns in "curve" the first week of January. Granted there was a weather delay, but that happened well after my order was flagged as basically waiting for Lila to drop it off at USPS. I did not receive the order until the end of January, and immediately contacted Customer Service to initiate an exchange for a smaller size. Working with customer service was a several day process as the return/exchange process is not very clear on the website.

It still took 10 days to receive the exchanged items after Lila received the original returned order, so 5 weeks give or take from the original order date. The "full figure" gowns do fit a lot better in the bust and shoulders vs the "curve," but still struggled with keeping the straps up. Based on reviews, this is a common complaint about this style gown. I echo everyone's feedback that a strap should be included in this design. I did end up sewing on some ribbon to both gowns to tie around my back in order to keep the straps up on both gowns.

All in all, I'm still excited to wear the Lila gowns for L&D. I know it's going to feel a lot more comfortable vs a traditional hospital gown. I just wish the transaction process wasn't so delayed and I didn't have to add my own "fix" to a known issue with the gown.
